2024 MLBB Summer Reading Program
The 2024 MLBB Summer Reading Program is back for another season! This reading initiative has been put into effect to reward young readers for their reading efforts and prevent "summer slide" (a regression in reading skills due to lack of practice) over summer break. The children are to read the required amount of books for their age and then take their completed reading log (all pages) to our business partners to redeem their prizes. If your child is too young to read independently, read to them! This program is for children ages 2-18-years old! This program wouldn't be possible without the support of these fabulous participating businesses so please be sure to thank them for their generosity when you visit. Remember, your child can redeem each prize ONE TIME. It's important that everyone remains honest so we can continue this worthwhile program in the future.
Here is the list of prizes:
1. One FREE Minnie Rice Krispie Treat (the "real deal" straight from Orlando!) from Pixie Dust Vacation Planners. Claim your prize from the DJ booth during the July or August Friday Food Truck Festivals at Playwicki Farm or Bolton Mansion.
2. One $5.00 gift certificate from L'il Angels Consignment Sale towards any item. Redeem Saturday 8/17/24 from 7am-2pm OR Sunday 8/18/24 from 8am-12pm. Sale location is St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem.
